To answer weijie's questions...
1. What happen if a car is travelling at the speed of light and the headlights is switch on?
Well, you wouldn't be able to observe the effects, since within splitseconds you would crash into something. It's impossible to steer a car at that speed. But for the sake of answering the question, you wouldn't see anything since before the light can be reflected into your eyes, your position has changed. Also, travelling at that speed would cause your body to implode, as the pressure forced on your body will be too much.

2. Would you be safe if you jump at the very last moment inside a Falling Lift?
No. The change in pressure as the lift deccelerates from a high speed to 0 in the space of only a few cm will cause your body to take a lot of damage. You wouldn't be safe, but you might not die either.

3. Does a universe exist if there is no life to acknowledge it's existence?
If it exists, whether there is anything to acknowledge it does not matter. For example, one may believe that everyone else doesn't exist. Although to that person, no one else exists, we all know that we share the earth with a lot of other people.

4. Is it possible to cry underwater?
Yes.

5. If it is 0 degrees today, and its going to be twice as cold tommorow, what temperature will it be?
Well, it seems impossible to calculate the temperature tomorrow if we take 0 as the current temperature, because we still feel that it is colder. However, we have two methods of measuring temperature: Celcius, and Fahrenheit. 0 degrees celcius is 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Shall post something since the blog is soooo dead...

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help.' There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?'

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

#1. There's a lecture on this Friday, with regards to this Saturday's HSK and Meet-the-parents session. It's from 3.30pm all the way to 5.30pm. CCAs will be cancelled. Attendance is compulsory.

Happy Holidays people! Today marks the start of the September holidays. How's it goin'? Aww..I missin' 2B already. Hope you guys are having fun and enjoying urselves, but do rmb to complete ur homework too. HAHA. Anyway, here's a class outing for this holiday.

Date: 1st september 2008 (Monday)

Time: 11am. Meet at harbourfront mrt control station

From 11 am, we shall go and have lunch/brunch(it's up to you people). Hmm perhaps we can go eat buffet so if you guys have any recommendations do tag at the tagboard. Thks.

After lunch: Heading to sentosa beach for games and entertainment

Things to bring: 1. Beach balls, Frisbees or any other.
2. Extra clothings in case you dirty urselves or get wet.
3. Money. Decide how much you wanna bring.

Anyway, we can also cycle there, so bring money to pay for the bike rental fees. HAHA.

After two hours,

Hey all...it's kinda late and I'm still blogging. Heh. Guess what. I'm staying up late just to wait for 12midnight to come; and then scream and shout," Wee! It's national day eve! Happy be-earliered birthday Singapore! And....It's the Beijing Olympics too!" Haha. That sounds retarded. But who cares anyway. Okay lah, the above is just random. Now, here's the important thing:

We have planned a class outing on the 10th August 2008, which is this coming Sunday, one day after National day.

Itenary for the day

Early in the morning......

Meeting venue: Vivocity Golden Village
Time to meet: 10.15am

After which... we will be watching a movie..WAHA

Decided movie: Money no enough 2
Time of movie: 11am
The show will end at approximately 1.15pm.

1.15pm-2.15pm: We will have lunch for an hour

Afterwards we will proceed to Safra@Mount Faber (uh..its a new one...so the facilities there are good..dun worry).

2.15pm onwards: Activity will be of personal preference

Uhh..I heard that there's a bowling, pool, soccer, swimming, kbox. Overall the place is nice. Trust me, i went there before. HEh.

Things to bring: Hmm...yourself? Money wise pehaps $30...or any other other amount you would like to bring.

《我思我想》

当大家都去马来西亚完事，我却留在学校，上了一个非常闷的课程。当时，我心里在想：“没去马来西亚已经够参了，现在还要每天来学校，8点到下午2.30 时，上一个似乎跟我无关的课程。”与我上这个课程的是那些跟我一样，没去马来西亚的人，和没去OBS的。与这些陌生人上着郁闷的课程简直就是在折磨我，第一天，我感到非常闷，时时刻刻都想着在我班的好朋友，想着他们在国外玩的有多开心，而我却在这受苦。没了我班陪着我，无论是休息时间，或是演讲时，我感到非常寂寞，在这三天内，我一直都在挂念着他们。
在这三天内，我终于发现我是不能没有2B的，而我在这一年半，却把他们当作理所当然的。我非常后悔，当初没有与我班交流多一点，更珍惜我们彼此。真希望我能回去中一的时候，再次与我在2B 的各个好朋友在一起，享受时光。转眼间，我们在一起已快要两年了。在班上，更我较好的朋友当然是与我在圣约翰(SJAB)里的好朋友，俊渊和伟杰。但这并不代表我不与其他人聊天。整个2B都可以说是我的好朋友，我很肯定，如果有一天我们分离了，我一定会想念他们的，因为在我眼里，2B是我去过最好的班。我敢说我从没后悔踏进立华，更没后悔过踏进2B，因为我知道没了2B，我的生活也不会像现在一样完美了。
说到分离，再多几个月，我们将会升级，到各自不同的班去。这可怕的一天渐渐的来临，一想到要分离，心情也会立刻改变。一起经历困难（没做功课，没带东西一起被骂！）还有一起玩，一起读书，一起开玩笑的2B ，难道就要在此分离了吗？虽然不喜欢，但我们也不能做些什么。平时因为父母而不能一起与2B出去玩的我，已决定更珍惜我与2B宝贵的时间，我也会好好利用剩下的几个月。
不要分离的好方法就是努力读书，一起得到好成绩，然后进一样的班。但，我知道这是不太可能的，但为了不要想分离，也只好想着这一点，心里也许会感到安慰。
还记得第一天上课的情境，我一句话都没说，直到休息时间在开始交流。后来，发现伟杰也要参与圣约翰时，才与他成为了好朋友。从此，他就变成了我一起玩电脑游戏，一起做功课（也一起没做功课，开个玩笑而已。哈哈）的对象。
越想分离，心里越难受，还是别谈伤心事了。考试在两个星期（还是一个星期后？）就要开始了，祝大家好运，用功读书吧！

每当想起我们这班就要解散了，一股难以名壮的悲伤不禁会涌上心头。这一年和八个月来，我们从陌生人，成为了同学；从同学变成了好友，而有些也成为了自己志同道合的知己。从一个不团结的班，渐渐地，成为了积极、充满活力的班。

我们曾经一起为班而奋斗、努力过；在这里也建立了不少友情，对这个班有了感情。缘分，的确是很奥妙的。它能让两个陌生人相遇。在这么多人中，我们便是注定要相遇的。

我常常都会这样想：明年，我们各自到不同的班级以后，会不会像现在这样，热情地打招呼；一起谈天说地；休息时间时，一起吃顿饭，说说笑；或者看到彼此时，当作视而不见，和新的朋友，谈笑风生？之间的友情会不会因此就消失？朋友之间的感情，是如此脆弱的吗？

人们都说，天下无不散之筵席。
我会更珍惜班上的每一位同学，
更珍惜我们在一起相处的时间，
更珍惜我们之间的每一份感情。

我永远都不会忘记，

时间过得真快！和班上的同学一起玩闹与忧伤的时光已悄悄地从我们的身旁流过，一转眼，一年半的时间已经过去了。一想到再过半年，我们就得分开，许多往事不禁流入脑海中。它们就像天上的星星一样，闪闪发亮，使我记忆犹新。。。

我开始回想。。。
想起我们是怎么从不认识彼此，到和你们一起玩乐。
想起我们是怎么在一起欢呼，一起享受欣喜之情。
想起我们又是怎么一起被老师骂，被惩罚。
想起我们是怎么一起同心协力，把教室打扫干净。
想起我们又是怎么围绕在一个同学的桌旁抄习。
想起我们是怎么在老师后面作怪。
想起我们是怎么一起同心协力一起表演。
想到我们一整班，三十一个从不同小学但因缘分而聚集在立化中学的我们，
将面对离别的事实，一种不舍及害怕的感觉不禁流入心中。

我开始害怕离别了，
回想着我们以前在一起的日子，
及张望着以后在学校碰见对方的未来，
我开始害怕了。
我并不盼望他们会像以前一样，
但他们是否会把我当透明？
或会招个手打招呼？
或者只是一个微笑？
我并不知道，也不想知道。

我只知道，
我现在必须把握和他们在一起的时间，
留下跟他们在一起最完美的时光，

though we did not win the best prize,we did our best,and won the prize for MOST ENGAGING.though we kinda screwed up in the first performance when i think we were judged,and did better during the second performance,i think that what matters most is that we had fun,and did our best.

and i'm kinda crazy now,so yeah.

Hey all, I'm here to provide details for the class initiated CIP.

Date: 19th July 2008 (this coming Saturday)

Time: 10am - 1 pm (Meeting at 9.15am at Farrer Park MRT station, DON'T BE LATE.)

Venue: Tessensohn Civil Service Club (It's a 5 min walk from Farrer Park MRT station)

Attire: Class Tee/PE Shirt, with PE shorts/jeans, clothing that is revealing is unacceptable (e.g. mini-skirt)

What to Bring: Yourself, your wallet (with money), your student pass (IMPORTANT, you'll get killed by me if you don't), water bottle, whatever you wanna bring.

Yup, so the use of your student ID is that, all of you have to pass me all of your student passes on the day itself, if not, be prepared to be killed by me. And if you don't bring them, you'd have wasted your time going there because there wouldn't be a CIP certificate issued to you if you don't have your student pass to verify your personal particulars. Before I forget, kindly inform me or Hui Xian ASAP if you can't make it for the CIP activity. Up till now, I only know that Sarah and Choon Zuan, and all the scouts can't make it. Tell me if I didn't mention your name if you're not going. Thanks. :)

1000-1300: Movie time depend on the movie you all want to watch.
1300-1400: Lunch. You may go to eat with your cliques.
1405: Gather back at 1405 at the third floor.
1430: Reach Sentosa Beach
1800: Have fun. Ball games.

Personal equipment:
Attire: Class T or any other shirt you want.
Money: At least $20 Max: your problem

Group equipment: Balls for those who have. (In all senses of the word) Suitable for beach play.

Others: Your problem

Wet Weather Plan.

Haha. I'm being so nice today. Why? Cos I'm posting to update you all on our class tee! Anyway, first things first.

Happy Birthday Chiun Yuan! You're finally 14! Heeeeees.

Me Claire Wen Ting Suzanne were the nicest people of all today. We actually stayed back and went to do the class tee! That's how noble we are. We should be nominated for the Nobel Prize right? Wahaha. Yeah. So we went to JEC aft school. And we spent like 2 hours in the shop can? We did quite a number of changes. Just a pic here for you all to see how it's like. Please don't scream at us if the size doesn't fit you or you don't like the design; well too bad cos you didn't voice your opinions. ;)

Haha and yeah I'm damn proud that my name is used on the class tee design sample. :) We tried our very best to make it as nice as possible already k.. So you must appreciate our efforts. Hahaha. and anyway i'm supposed to post.cos me,alicia,yuxian and shirley went to watch the c'div bball match against Bukit Batok Secondary.lets see,it was kinda an exciting match.seeing that alicia was there.anyway we won 49 to 36 i think.the point is we won.choonzuan scored quite a lot, and i know joshua scored too[:

i think i'm supposed to post about how crazy alicia was.cos bball is a rough game,then there'll be people falling down.when a certain person called lxxxi from the neighbouring class fell down and kinda injured his ankle,she was like,going crazy.one of the most 'memorable' thing she said was "lxxxi is MINE!" and there's a lot of other stuff.like in KFC.anyone who wants to know more go and ask those who were there.so yeah.and i think she just fell in love with the whole bball team.including Bukit Batok Sec de number 9.anyone who knows him please tell alicia.lol.

School's reopening- 2nd semester...

Hey all...Its 2 more days to the start of school. Hah. I wonder if all of you are reluctant or craving for it. Oh well. Anyway...nice job to those who completed homework and jiayou for those who haven't. No matter what, we just have to complete them...haha...You know what? I realise most of us procrastinate when it comes to homework. It's like we keep saying that we have lots of activities thus resulting in us not having time to do. I know...holidays for us is really like...filled with lists of events. It seems so busy. But if we really think hard...about how we spent those days of this holiday....perhaps to most of us it would be like slacking. Aww, yea, holidays are meant for relaxing and slacking after half a year of studying...but then....seriously, many hours of time are wasted unknowingly by us just slacking...hoho. Maybe we should really sort things out and plan on how we are going to do our homework...slack...and projects....You know, after so many holidays, same things keep happening...most of us chiong homework on the last week of school...some homework left uncompleted....haha...its normal for this to happen now, cos most teenagers are like that, schoolmates are also like that. But then, if we think again, we are able to complete our homework and have enough time to slack and whatever. (okay, some people are really seriously super busy everyday) But for the rest of us...we surely have time if we really concentrate and do our homework.

Perhaps we should try out...concentrate on our homework, complete them by the deadline, and pass it up as a class?

Perhaps we shouldn't continue disappointing or pissing the teachers by handing in the work late?

Perhaps we should strive to be the class that is united, hand in all homework/forms/whatever...on time...with everyone bringing them?

OMG...I know I sound kinda....crazy in this post...but again...I hope we can achieve this as a class.
We have been a class since last year...its about 1 and a half years now...there's half a year left before we split and go to different classes..(perhaps even lesser than that)...we may seem bonded and united..but somehow...we can do better. Frankly speaking, I think our class is the best class I've ever seen in my life....I really hope that everyone in our class can work as one...and treasure the time left for us to be together...to strive towards a main goal together...to be one that is real bonded and united. Half a year left...we should really spent our time together. We need not really go for outings every now and then because I know the 2nd semester would be much busier, but simple things that happen can also bond us together. Hehe. All of you are really great classmates, different people with different character...all that I can learn from...Its saddening to split classes...but its a fact that we have to face. I hope that we can really leave beautiful memories that will stay with everyone of us as we carry on with our lives...

Can we make it? As one?
